About Us

A Family-owned Pizzeria from DiAnoia’s Eatery


Pizzeria Davide specializes in Old World- and New York-style pizzas made from scratch at our Strip District and Robinson Township locations. 

Our story began at DiAnoia’s Eatery, where husband-and-wife owners Dave Anoia and Aimee DiAndrea Anoia first introduced diners to our signature Old World style. When the kitchen began bursting at the seams with pizza orders, Pizzeria Davide was born. We opened our Strip District takeout window and outdoor dining area in 2019, followed by our Robinson location in 2021.

Our technique revolves around premium ingredients and quality crust. The attention to detail begins with the dough, made with Molino Pasini flour imported from Italy. The dough ferments for 72 hours, which gives rise to a crisp, flavorful crust for our Old World, New Yorker and specialty pies. We hand stretch each pizza, slide it onto the hot stone and wait for the deep, golden-brown finish that’s worth every extra minute in the oven. We top things off with house-made sauces, farm fresh veggies, and choice meats and cheeses, ranging from fresh mozzarella to locally made Salty Pork Bits sausage. When you pop open the box, you’ll find a pizza that’s crafted by hand from start to finish.

At Pizzeria Davide, we specialize in Old World and New York-style pizzas. What sets the two styles apart? You can see the difference in the order of toppings and taste it in the cheese selections and sauce recipes used for each style. Let’s break it down:

Old World Pizza

  1. Sharp provolone cheese on the bottom
  2. San Marzano tomato sauce in the middle
  3. Fresh basil, parmesan and oregano on top

New Yorker Pizza

  1. Cooked red sauce on the bottom
  2. Mozzarella and provolone cheeses in the middle
  3. Parmesan and oregano on top 


Everything that Dave and Aimee Anoia touch is incredible. When they decided to open a Pizza shop next door to DiAnoia's I was very intrigued. When I tried the pizza I was thrilled to have a new best pizza in tahn. I've had the fish sandwich, the meatball bomb, wings, and several of their pies. I have yet to be disappointed with any of it. 2020 has been rough on all of us, especially the restaurant industry. This group has consistently put the health and safety of their customers and employees first. Every time I support them it feels good. I do not have enough nice words to adequately describe my admiration for their businesses. Just order a pie. Spinach and Artichoke or Sopressata and Mushroom are my faves.

I had the pleasure of being their first customer at their new location in Robinson. It was my first time eating their pizza and it exceeded expectations. The sauce to cheese was perfect, and the crust was out of this world. I also had their two meatballs, and would order those again in a heartbeat. There is pizza, and then there is pizza. Anybody can make a pie, but it takes skill to make a really good pie. Pizzeria David has that skill, and their pies are delicious, cooked properly, look good, and taste great!

Traditional with fried onions, provolone cheese and cheese wiz. Or deluxe style with fried onions, provolone cheese, cheese wiz, lettuce, tomato and pepper relish mayo. Vegetarian and vegan seitan options are available.

Pizzeria Davide Cheesesteak

Meatball wrapped in mozzarella cheese and pizza dough and baked. Served with marinara and topped with pesto.
